Lisbon: The Wonders of Lisbon

• More than 2,000 years ago, Romans told tales of Lisbon, a city of seven hills rumored to have been founded by Odysseus. This afternoon, after a two-hour ride, begin your Lisbon tour in the seaside Belem Quarter, where the façade of Gothic Jeronimo’s Monastery awaits you. Signs of Lisbon’s past eminence can be found throughout the city. Continue to the avenues of the Downtown of Rossio Square and Terreiro do Paco, the magnificent square known as “Lisbon’s Gateway.” End your afternoon by experiencing the history of Lisbon from its founding to the present day.
