But Myanmar is changing rapidly and these issues may be part of the past... The Shwedagon temple is certainly one of the most amazing buildings, in the world!
Mandalay

Picturesque lake with fisherman, "longneck" women, a monastery dedicated to cats and lots of tomatoes. The village itself offers everything you need, like beds, restaurants and bicycles/motocycles to explore the area.
