Nairobi est la capitale et la plus grande ville du Kenya. 4,5 millions de personnes vivent dans cette grande ville.

La réserve nationale du Masai Mara est l'un des principaux parcs nationaux du Kenya (et d'Afrique) avec beaucoup d'animaux sauvages. Il borde le parc national du Serengeti en Tanzanie.

Le parc national du lac Nakuru est surtout connu pour ses milliers, parfois millions de flamants roses qui nichent le long des rives. Cela peut vraiment colorer tout le lac en rose. Cependant, les niveaux d’eau ont varié depuis un quasi-assèchement jusqu’à des inondations complètes. Les flamants roses peuvent migrer vers d'autres lacs en fonction de cela.

Amboseli est un grand parc national avec une superbe faune. L'excellente vue sur le mont Kilimandjaro depuis le parc en fait l'une des meilleures expériences de safari en Afrique.

Le parc national de Tsavo est le plus grand parc national du Kenya et est divisé en une moitié ouest et est par l'autoroute 109. Il porte le nom de la rivière Tsavo, qui coule d'ouest en est à travers le parc national.
