Nicaragua
Nicaragua, with capital Managua, is a Spanish-speaking country in Central America. It was re-discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1502 and since then Europeans left many traces. "Mestizos", children of locals and Europeans, were a result of these encounters. Nicaragua also has volcanos with a lot of national parks.

Belize
Featuring a real tropical rain forest, amazing wildlife and Maya ruins should be enough for most travelers. But Belize also boasts the 2nd largest reef in the world with perfect scuba diving and snorkeling, for example in the famous Blue Hole. Several Cayes along the coast, a relaxed life style and reggae music round up the complete travel package.
