Sharm el-Sheikh is a holiday resort and was a significant centre for tourism in Egypt, similar to Hurghada. It is known for excellent snorkeling and diving.
Mount Sinai (aka Jabal Musa) is a mountain in the Sinai desert. It is one of several locations claimed to be the biblical Mount Sinai where, according to the Torah, Bible, and Quran, Moses received the Ten Commandments. The monastery of St. Catherine is nearby.
Hurghada is a beach resort along Egypt's Red Sea with excellent snorkeling and scuba diving, similar to Sharm el-Sheikh.
