Riyadh

Medina
Medina, officially known as Al Madinah Al Munawwarah, is one of the holiest cities in Islam. Medina is generally considered to be the "cradle of Islamic culture and civilization". The Prophet's Mosque is of exceptional importance in Islam and serves as burial site of the prophet Muhammad.
Hegra
In 2008, UNESCO proclaimed Hegra as a site of patrimony, becoming Saudi Arabia's first World Heritage Site. It was chosen for its well-preserved remains from late antiquity, especially the monumental rock-cut tombs.
Mecca
Mecca, officially known as Makkah al-Mukarramah, is the holiest city in Islam. Muslims from around the world visit the city for the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage. Non-Muslims cannot enter the city.
Al Ula
Al-Ula is an ancient (walled) Arabic oasis city located in Saudi Arabia. It played an important role in (pre-) Islam and the development of the Arab language. Nearby are also rock formations and carvings.
